The Peace Bearer is inspired by an idea found in many cultures: true peace is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to protect what has value without giving up compassion.
 
 
 
The figure holds a dagger, a symbol of determination, justice and the will to defend what is right. It is not raised to strike but held at rest, a reminder that strength only has meaning when it serves peace.
 
 
 
In the other hand, the figure carries a sprig of laurel, a plant that since Ancient Greece and Rome has symbolised victory, honour and wisdom. Here it stands not for victory over others, but over fear, pride and violence.
 
 
 
The white lilies growing at its feet evoke purity, hope and new beginnings, while the floral crown binds the figure to nature — a fundamental element of Art Nouveau, where organic forms express the balance between human beings and the natural world.
 
 
 
Every element of the composition speaks of the same idea: peace is not a sign of weakness, but the result of strength, discipline and the ability to choose harmony over conflict.
