Shipping Policy
Every order from this shop — fine art prints, books and handmade pendants — is packed and sent by Daniel from the studio in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. We ship worldwide with Correos, the Spanish postal service, and every parcel travels with a tracking number.
Processing time
Orders leave the studio on our collection days — Monday, Wednesday and Friday — so most orders are dispatched within 1–3 working days of payment. On the day your parcel leaves you receive an email with the tracking number.
Prints are printed to order on Hahnemühle paper, so during busy periods, or while I am tattooing at a convention, dispatch can take a few days longer. If that happens, I will email you with the new date.
Shipping costs
Shipping is paid by the customer and is calculated at checkout from the destination and the weight of the order. The exact amount, and the estimated delivery time for your address, are shown before you pay. All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable.

The estimate shown at checkout for your own address is the one that applies to your order.
Tracking
Correos updates the tracking while the parcel is in Spain. Once it leaves the country, your national postal service takes over the last stretch — USPS in the United States, Royal Mail in the UK, Deutsche Post in Germany, La Poste in France — and the same number works on their website. It is normal for tracking to go quiet for a few days in between; that does not mean the parcel is lost.
Packaging and multiple parcels
Prints travel rolled in rigid tubes, books in fitted boxes, pendants in their own padded box. A large order may travel in more than one parcel, so you may receive more than one tracking number for the same order. That is not a duplicate.
Customs, duties and import taxes
• United States: orders are sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Import duties and taxes are paid at origin, so there is nothing to pay on delivery.
• European Union: no additional charges. The price you paid is the final price.
• Everywhere else (United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Asia): your order may be subject to import duties, VAT or a customs handling fee set by your own country. These are not included in the price and are paid by the recipient. We cannot calculate them in advance — your local customs office can.
Refusing a parcel to avoid customs charges is treated as an undelivered order (see below).
Delivery address
Please check your address carefully before paying, including apartment, street number and postcode. If you spot a mistake, email info@nightowlbooks.store straight away — if the parcel has not been collected yet, we can still correct it.
If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong, because nobody collected it from the post office, or because it was refused at customs, we can send it again once the new postage is paid, or refund the price of the items (the original shipping cost is not refunded in that case).
Delays and lost parcels
If your order has not arrived within 10 working days of the estimated window, email us with your order number. We will chase it with Correos and, if it does not turn up, send it again at no cost to you or refund it in full.
Collection in person at conventions
When I am working at a tattoo convention, checkout may offer free pick-up in person at the stand. Choose it only if you are attending: those orders are not posted, they are brought to the event.
